Terms of Service

1. What these terms cover

Provider: Appmerc LLC (“Appmerc,” “we”), reachable at sales@appmerc.com.

1. The websites www.appmerc.com and www.getvetrix.com (informational use).
2. The hosted application at www.gitvetrix.com (accounts, repositories, issues, CI/CD, registries, and the MCP endpoint), which we operate.
3. These terms incorporate the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy.

Self-hosted installations of Vetrix are governed by their software license (Community or Commercial), not by these Terms. Paid engagements (consultancy, support, commercial licenses) are governed by their Order Form or engagement agreement, which prevails over these Terms where they conflict.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, including actions performed by automation and AI agents you authorize through the platform’s API or MCP endpoints (all of which are attributed to your account in the audit log). We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or the AUP.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you store (repositories, issues, comments, packages). You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service: to store, transmit, back up, and display your content to you and to collaborators you authorize, and to process it with the platform’s built-in tooling (CI runners, scanners, search indexing) at your direction. Your private repositories stay private: visibility is controlled by you, subject to the platform’s access-control model.

4. Service, availability, and support

The hosted application is provided on a best-effort basis without an uptime commitment unless a signed agreement says otherwise. Community support is provided as described on our sites; paid support tiers are defined in the applicable Order Form.

5. Fees

Use of the websites is free. The hosted application at gitvetrix.com is currently operated for Appmerc’s own projects and invited users; any paid offering will have published terms and pricing before fees apply. Software licenses and consultancy are priced per the published price book or a quote.

6. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these Terms or the AUP, with notice where practicable and a cure period for remediable breaches. On closure, we delete account content per the Privacy Policy retention terms, subject to backups aging out.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The websites and hosted application are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appmerc LLC’s aggregate liability arising from these Terms is capped at the greater of $100 or the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Governing law

Governing Law. These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Venue. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page and, for hosted-application account holders, announced with reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
