Acceptable Use Policy
Appmerc LLC · www.gitvetrix.com
Effective: · Last Updated:
1. Illegal use
This policy applies to everyone who uses the hosted application at www.gitvetrix.com or interacts with Appmerc LLC’s websites and services, including through APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and AI agents acting on a user’s behalf.
Do not use the services to store, transmit, or distribute material or conduct activity that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours, including infringing intellectual property, violating export controls, or processing data you have no right to process.
2. Security abuse
Do not: probe, scan, or breach accounts, repositories, or infrastructure you are not authorized to access; distribute malware; use the platform to stage, command, or control attacks on third parties; or attempt to defeat the platform’s isolation boundaries (runner sandboxes, the signing daemon’s trust boundary, ACLs). Good-faith security research against your own resources, or coordinated disclosure to sales@appmerc.com, is welcome.
3. Resource abuse
Do not: run CI/CD workloads unrelated to building, testing, or deploying the code in your repositories (no cryptocurrency mining, no compute resale); use the registries as general-purpose file hosting; or impose unreasonable load designed to degrade the service for others. Fair-use limits may be enforced technically.
4. Automation and AI agents
Automation and AI agents are first-class citizens on the platform, and every agent action is attributed to the authorizing account through the audit log. You are responsible for what your agents do: an agent acting under your credentials is you for the purposes of this policy. Do not use agents to evade rate limits, ACLs, or audit attribution.
5. Content
Do not use the services to host or distribute content that is defamatory, harassing, or deceptive (including malware disguised as legitimate packages in the registries, typosquatted package names, or impersonation of other projects or maintainers).
6. Email and outreach
Do not use our infrastructure or lists for unsolicited bulk email. Our own mailing practices are consent-based (double opt-in) per the Privacy Policy.
7. Enforcement
We may throttle, suspend, or remove content or accounts that violate this policy — with notice and a chance to remediate where the violation is not severe or ongoing. We report illegal activity to authorities where required.
8. Reporting
Report abuse, security issues, or infringement to abuse@appmerc.com.
