1. Scope
This policy covers the websites www.appmerc.com and www.getvetrix.com, the hosted application at www.gitvetrix.com, our analytics service at analytics.appmerc.com, and email correspondence with us.
2. What we collect, and why
2.1 Analytics (all web properties)
We use a self-hosted instance of Umami, a cookieless, privacy-respecting analytics tool, at analytics.appmerc.com. It records aggregate page views, referrers, and interaction events (for example, a click on a pricing link).
- No cookies are set for analytics; no cross-site tracking occurs.
- Data is processed on infrastructure we operate; it is not shared with an analytics vendor.
- IP addresses are used transiently to derive coarse, aggregate statistics and are not stored in visitor profiles.
- Because no personal profile is built, no consent banner is presented.
2.2 Email subscriptions (MailerLite)
If you subscribe to product updates (Vetrix updates, LLMCLI updates, or Appmerc news), your email address is processed by MailerLite, our email service provider, and stored in a subscriber group matching what you signed up for.
- All subscriptions use double opt-in: you receive a confirmation email and are only subscribed after you confirm.
- We record which form you used, the confirmation timestamp, and standard delivery/open metrics provided by MailerLite.
- Every email includes an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
2.3 Sales and support correspondence
If you email sales@appmerc.com (including via the mailto links on our pricing pages), we keep the correspondence to respond, prepare quotes, and maintain a record of the business relationship. We do not add correspondents to mailing lists without a separate opt-in.
2.4 Hosted application accounts (www.gitvetrix.com)
If you hold an account on the hosted application we operate at www.gitvetrix.com, we process: your account details (username, email, display name, avatar), the content you store (repositories, issues, comments), and operational logs including the platform’s audit log (which records authenticated actions, including API and AI-agent tool calls, as a security feature of the product). This processing is necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
2.5 What we do not do
- No advertising trackers, no third-party ad pixels, no sale of personal data.
- No telemetry or “install ping” from self-hosted Vetrix or LLMCLI installations: software you self-host does not report back to us.
3. Retention
- Analytics aggregates: retained indefinitely in aggregate, non-identifying form.
- Mailing-list data: until you unsubscribe or we delete the list.
- Sales correspondence: for the life of the business relationship plus three years.
- Hosted-application data: for the life of the account; deletion on account closure per the Terms of Service.
5. Your rights
Contact sales@appmerc.com to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to processing. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
6. Changes
We will post changes to this policy on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes affecting hosted-application accounts will be announced to account holders.
